I have not been anywhere else for over ten years. Derrick has always done great by me from cuts, perms, colors, and stylng and brows. I have always felt comfortable and relaxed. The salon is always clean and the people are friendly and welcoming. You do not have to worry about appts you can sit down and have a drink and relax. I would recommend to any of my friends and family.
If you don't get the nice classy Mexican woman in that place... Don't let the young dumb party little girls cut your hair!!! If you want a great haircut get the pretty classy lady.... How those little party girl's still have a job is beyond me.
Took my 2 year old son in to get his hair trimmed up since Christmas was in a few days and I knew people would be taking pictures of him. Well, I took him here since his regular barber was sick but I had to get his hair cut. So he was a little difficult, what do you expect from a 2 year old when the hair stylist is not really making him feel any more comfortable but anyways, this lady HACKED my son's bangs off on one side. Like they are non existent on the right side of his face. She tried to play it off like it was a cow lick. NO. My son has board straight hair and has NEVER had a cowlick and I don't think he grew one overnight. Just because I have super curly hair and cowlicks all over my head doesn't mean he does. I would have rather her apologize for messing his hair up than lie to me about it. I didn't say anything while I was there because I'm usually not too picky about how his hair is cut and I was in a rush to get somewhere else. I leave and notice the horrific haircut. This is RIDICULOUS! He is missing hair and it is obvious!! I have had several people come up to me and ask who did that do him! One person thought he did it himself! Since everywhere else was closed the next day my son had to wear a mohawk for Christmas! Just imagine how those pictures turned out. I'll tell you, HORRIBLE! Plus, I work. I can't just take off to get my son's hair fixed because the first person I took him to screwed it all up, so therefore he's went all week with his hair looking like he got ahold of his daddy's beard trimmer. It's embarrassing. I am going SOMEWHERE ELSE this weekend to get it fixed.
I would just like to say that April Lucas did a fantastic job and I absolutely love my hair. For the condition that my hair was in and the result I received on her ombré technique I couldn't be more pleased for the convenience of my spur of the moment walkin and the effort she put in for the low price they charge of only $49.95... (little charges here and there depending on if you want it styled etc)... I would recommend her for any color considering she got me a really pretty blonde on my usual box dyed brown hair. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
